Lunch on Campus
Lunch, every Tuesday, 12-1 p.m., courtyard in front of the nursing building. Our vision/hope for these lunches is that they would be a time of fellowship, a space for non-Christians to share a meal with Christians and be blessed, and a testimony of God and His church's presence at UCSF. The lunches will be super casual so feel free to invite friends. All are welcome. :)
Prayer on Campus
Prayer, every Monday and Thursday, 12-1 p.m., outdoors area on the second floor of the nursing building (go up the stairs and then through the doors). Come see/hear God's heart for UCSF. Come pray for our campus, classmates and friends, and the body of Christians on campus, including Sonrise. Come hear testimonies about God working. Come receive prayer from fellow Christians. This meeting is for all Christians on campus so feel free to invite others. Call Steph at
650/823-2645 if you can't find us on campus, and email her at
stephchiao@gmail.com if you are interested in becoming a member of the prayer team.
Sonrise Small Groups
What might you and Jeremy Lin have in common? Being in a small group! Small groups are a great way to delve deeper into God's word, fellowship together, and lift up our prayers for each other to God. Small group has begun for this quarter focused on integrating faith into all aspects of our daily lives, e.g., as a student, a professional, a friend, and a family member, most likely using Henri Nouwen's book, "Life of the Beloved: Spiritual Living in a Secular World." We'll meet twice a month, Tuesdays @ 526 Hugo Street from 7-830 pm. Send an email if you are interested and/or have any questions:
