Operation Christmas Child
The story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37) gives a clear picture of God's desire for us to help those in desperate need wherever we find them.  After describing how the Samaritan rescued a hurting man whom others had passed by, Jesus told His hearers, "Go and do likewise."
Operation Christmas Child is a program that lets us give gifts to children in third world countries.  If you would like to do it on your own, you can contact Kim Lai (kimster419@gmail.com) to drop them off.  If you would like to DONATE, you can paypal Kim at Kimster419@gmail.comLADIES of SONRISE: Operation Christmas Child is also going to be a women's group event!  Please fill out the Google doc if you would like to participate in gift wrapping this Sunday, November 20, at Johanna's house on 9th Avenue at 12:30pm.
