Veritas Forum Planning Committee
For those of you who missed the Sonrise session from last Thursday, we heard a presentation from a Veritas Forum regional director about the vision behind Veritas Forum. Veritas Forums (www.facebook.com/veritasforum) (http://vimeo.com/9027384) are university events that engage students and faculty in discussions about life's hardest questions and the relevance of Jesus Christ to all of life. They seek to inspire the shapers of tomorrow's culture to connect their hardest questions with the person and story of Jesus Christ. Both UC Berkeley and Stanford have had much success with their Veritas Forums this year, and we hope to plan our own Veritas Forum this coming fall. End-of-the-Year SENIOR BANQUET: This will be an evening of fellowship, worship, food, and roasting 'n toasting our outgoing seniors on Saturday, May 28th @5:30pm at a church nearby - the same place as past banquets. Cost is $15 and includes dinner, dessert, transportation, space rental, and activity costs.
